This year, the senior excursion will go to the exhibition about Carlsberg, which reopened in December 2023 after several years of reconstruction, and which is now called Home of Carlsberg. The excursion will take place on Thursday 13 June.
Home of Carlsberg is an experience and attraction located in the heart of J.C. Jacobsen’s first brewery at Valby Bakke. The attraction unfolds the past, present, and future of the Carlsberg family through a large interactive exhibition, and gives the guests the opportunity to see, hear and taste the story of J.C. Jacobsen and his family.
When we have all made it through the exhibition and enjoyed a beer or a soft drink in the bar, we will have lunch in the restaurant Madklubben Home of Carlsberg, which is a restaurant located in Carlsberg’s historic buildings at the top of Valby Bakke, just above Husbryggeriet Jacobsen.
Remember that you can take your companion on the trip and that the senior excursion is for both retired and serving members.
Please note that the exhibition is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
